I usually open my books twice a year and book appointments about six months in advance. The form stays open for three days, so there's no need to rush.

Due to limited availability and the number of requests I receive, I can usually accept around 40–50% of applications. The closer your idea is to my style, the better your chances of being selected.

If your idea is selected, I'll usually get back to you within two weeks after you submit your request.

Yes, of course! You're welcome to request a specific date or a range of dates. I'll do my best to accommodate your preferences. Just keep in mind that appointments fill up quickly, so having a little flexibility with your dates can make it easier to find a spot that works for you.

I don't have an official cancellation list, but if your appointment is booked further out and you'd prefer an earlier date, feel free to mention it in your booking form.

If you're flexible with your availability, I'll keep that in mind and reach out if an earlier spot opens up!

My full-day sessions typically range from C$1,600 to C$1,800 plus HST, depending on the length of the session. A full-day session usually includes around 5–6 hours of work.

Appointments start at 10 AM and usually finish between 3:30 PM and 5 PM, including preparation, stencil placement and breaks.

The total cost depends on the size, placement and complexity of your tattoo, as well as the number of sessions needed.

I'll provide an estimate before booking so you have a better idea of the overall cost.

Your full-day session includes everything needed for your tattoo, from the initial design to the finished piece.

This includes a consultation if needed, either in person or online, as well as a custom design created specifically for you based on your measurements and preferences.

You'll see and review your design on the day of your appointment. Any minor adjustments needed at that time are included in the price, along with all preparation, stencil placement and the tattoo session itself.

I also provide healing film or absorbent pads and other necessary aftercare supplies. You'll only need to purchase your own soap and moisturizer.

I accept cash, e-transfer for Canadian clients, and Wise for international clients.

Please note that I don't accept credit or debit cards.

No, 13% HST is not included and is added separately to the listed prices.

Payment is due at the end of each session. For consecutive-day bookings, the deposit for each day is deducted from that day's balance. For projects with sessions booked on separate dates, the deposit is deducted from the final session.

A C$300 deposit is required per full-day appointment. For two or three consecutive days, a separate deposit is required for each day.

For multiple appointments booked on separate dates as part of the same tattoo project, one C$300 deposit is enough.

The deposit secures your appointment and helps cover the time reserved for you and the studio's ongoing operating expenses, which remain even if an appointment is cancelled.

No, all deposits are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or tattoo project. However, you can reschedule once without losing your deposit if you provide enough notice.

The required notice depends on your booking:

• Single-day appointments: At least 2 calendar days.

• Two consecutive days: At least 4 calendar days.

• Three consecutive days: At least 7 calendar days.

Notice is counted by calendar date, not appointment time. All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be sent by email. Instagram and Facebook messages are not accepted.

You can reschedule once per tattoo project without losing your deposit, as long as you provide enough notice.

Any additional rescheduling within the same project will result in losing your deposit, even if you give enough notice.

Your deposit will be forfeited if you:

• Don't show up for your appointment.

• Arrive but decide not to proceed with the tattoo for any reason.

• Cancel or reschedule without the required advance notice.

• Reschedule more than once within the same tattoo project, even with sufficient notice.

• Arrive more than 40 minutes late.

• Don't arrange new dates within 6 months of cancelling an appointment.

• Arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Arrive without valid government-issued ID (you must be at least 18 years old).

For sessions booked on separate dates as part of the same project, one C$300 deposit covers all appointments and is deducted from your final session.

For consecutive-day bookings, a C$300 deposit is required for each day and is deducted from that day's balance.

Yes, if your deposit is forfeited, a new deposit is required to secure any future appointments.

Repeated cancellations, rescheduling or no-shows may result in higher deposit requirements, additional booking restrictions or the decision to discontinue the tattoo project.

I do my best to keep all scheduled appointments, and cancellations on my end are very rare. However, unexpected situations can happen, and I may occasionally need to cancel due to illness or an emergency.

If this happens, I'll offer to reschedule your appointment while keeping your deposit. If you prefer not to continue with the project, you'll receive a full refund of your deposit.

I specialize in large botanical tattoos featuring flowers, plants and berries, often combined with birds, small animals and insects.

My style focuses on natural, organic compositions that flow with the shape of the body. I prefer realistic proportions, larger elements and clean designs without too many small details.

I don't tattoo faces, heads, necks, ears, fingers, hands, feet or ribs.

I don't work with human portraits, hyperrealism, microrealism, mandalas, geometric designs or lettering.

I also don't copy other artists' work. Every tattoo I create is a custom design in my own style.

You're welcome to send reference photos that inspire you or that you really like. However, if the style is very different from mine, I won't be able to recreate it.

If you have a personal photo of a bird, flower or plant that has special meaning to you, feel free to share it! If the image is suitable for tattooing, I'd be happy to work with it and incorporate it into your design.

The more details you provide about your idea, including reference photos, measurements and preferences, the easier it is for me to create a design you'll love.

For more complex projects, we may need a consultation to go over the details. If your tattoo needs to fit around existing tattoos, I may ask you to take some measurements or make a tracing of the area. If you're in Ottawa, we can also do this together at my studio.

You'll see your design on the day of your appointment. Minor adjustments are always welcome, but major changes or a completely different design won't be possible, as each custom design takes several hours to create.

That's why it's important to be as clear and detailed as possible when describing your idea!

Yes, I occasionally do cover-ups, but they need to work with my style. I usually work with smaller existing tattoos that can be hidden within a larger design using flowers, leaves, birds or other natural elements.

Since my tattoos have a lot of negative space, the existing tattoo needs to be small enough to blend naturally into the new design. I don't do large cover-ups or designs that require completely covering an old tattoo with another image of a similar size.

I also work with scars, but each project needs to be discussed individually. Scar tissue has a different texture, so very fine details may not work well. The possibilities depend on the type and condition of the scar.

The number of sessions depends on the size, placement and complexity of your tattoo. Some projects can be completed in one session, while larger pieces may require several.

I usually recommend waiting at least 3–4 weeks between sessions to allow your skin enough time to heal.

I don't recommend leaving long gaps between sessions, such as 4–6 months or longer. Fresh ink may look different from older, healed ink, and my artistic style naturally evolves over time. Keeping sessions closer together helps maintain a more consistent look throughout your tattoo.

Yes! You can book two or three consecutive days for a larger tattoo project.

For colour tattoos, I recommend a maximum of two consecutive days. Long sessions can be exhausting, and by the third day, the tattooed skin is already starting to heal and may become more sensitive to wiping and irritation. Two days is usually the best balance.

For black and grey tattoos, three consecutive days may be possible, depending on the project and placement.

A little preparation can make your tattoo session much more comfortable!

• Get a good night's sleep, eat a proper breakfast and stay hydrated.

• Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine before your appointment.

• Don't take blood-thinning medications unless prescribed by your doctor. Never stop prescribed medication without medical advice.

• Don't use numbing cream without discussing it with me first.

• Shave the tattoo area beforehand, especially if you have longer hair. Use shaving gel or soap to avoid irritation.

• Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time, not earlier.

Please don't arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. Loose clothing is usually the best choice.

Feel free to bring snacks, drinks, headphones, a book or a tablet. Free Wi-Fi is available!

If possible, bring a neutral or earth-toned outfit for photos after your session. Avoid bright colours, busy prints or black clothing. This is completely optional but always appreciated!

I generally recommend coming alone, but I understand that having a friend or partner with you can make you feel more comfortable, especially during your first appointment.

You're welcome to bring someone for the design review and stencil placement. However, once we start tattooing, I prefer to keep the session one-on-one so I can fully focus on my work.

Your guest is welcome to share their thoughts on the design, but the final decisions should always be yours. I want you to feel comfortable and confident with your tattoo without any outside pressure.

Tattoo healing happens in several stages, and the process takes longer than it may seem.

First 1–2 weeks: This is the most active stage of healing. Your skin may feel sensitive, swollen or itchy. Peeling and light scabbing are normal as the skin begins to repair itself.

Weeks 2–4: Most of the peeling and scabbing should be finished, and your tattoo will start to look healed. However, the deeper layers of your skin are still recovering.

1–3 months: Your skin continues to heal beneath the surface. Even when your tattoo looks completely healed, deeper tissue repair can take several months.

Healing times vary depending on the tattoo's size, placement and your skin. Larger tattoos may take longer to recover.

While your tattoo is healing, there are a few things you should avoid to prevent irritation and help your skin recover properly:

• Swimming, hot tubs, baths and saunas until your tattoo is fully healed.

• Direct sunlight and tanning beds.

• Intense workouts that cause excessive sweating, friction or stretching of the tattooed area.

• Scratching, picking or peeling scabs and flaking skin.

• Tight clothing that rubs against your fresh tattoo.

If you experience increasing pain, swelling, redness, pus or other signs of infection, please seek medical attention as soon as possible and let me know what's happening. Don't wait for my reply before contacting a healthcare professional.

If your tattoo has healed and you notice any areas where the ink didn't settle properly, or something doesn't look quite right after 3–4 weeks, feel free to send me a clear photo. I'll take a look and let you know if a touch-up is needed.
